How Dallas got a flying trapeze

From one outdoor rig to a full indoor circus school.

    Our Story

    It started with a commute

Dallas was one of the largest metro areas in the country without a public flying trapeze. So Donovan built one.

Skyline Trapeze opened outdoors in 2013 with a rig, a net, a ladder, and a lot of very excited first-timers. As the school grew beyond flying trapeze, it expanded into aerial arts, trampoline, handstands and other circus disciplines. In 2020, DCC moved into its current indoor facility and became a year-round circus school.

    You Set the Pace

Classes are not paced by the strongest person in the room. Your coach meets you where you are and moves you one step beyond what you thought you could do. Some students want to swing and drop into the net. Others want to chase difficult skills. Both belong in the same room.

The goal is to have fun. If you learn some circus along the way, even better.

    Leadership

    The People Behind DCC

DCC is led by a small senior team, backed by coaches who specialize in flying trapeze, aerial arts, trampoline, handstands, flexibility, conditioning and youth circus.
